MUST GOALS 2010-2014

    MUST goals in the year 2010-2014 for me is well-planned and organized. The goals are as follows:

Goal 1: Pursue Excellence in Instruction.

Goal 2: Pursue Excellence in Research.

Goal 3: Pursue Excellence in Extension.

Goal 4: Establish the Center of Energy and Environment.

Goal 5: Promote Student Affairs, Welfare and Success.

Goal 6: Maximize Library and other Resource Support to the

Goal 7: Implement Massive Infrastructure

Goal 8: Implement Massive Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Development.

Goal 9: Pursue Outstanding Human and Organizational Development.

Goal 10: Ensure more Efficient and Effective Resource Management and Generation.

      The goals presented above are clearly define. The administration really supplies what are lacking in the institution. Not only what are lacking but also improving buildings, research programs, human and organizational development, ICT development and also instructions for learning. As what I've understood on the goals presented this are well planned in order to attain a quality education for all Musteans, so that in the future they can land a job.

      With regards to Goals above, goal no. 5- promote student affairs welfare and success. I think it is very important such thing. Why? We should improve our students wholesome and holistic development so that they can build self-discipline. We should develop also their skills and talents most of all their scholastic performance so that during the PRC board exam they passed.

      Goal no. 6 is to maximize Library and other resources support to the teaching, learning and research environment. For me, the E- library did not sustain us- the students. Yes! the facilities are there but it is not comfortable to used. That's why it is needed to be upgraded.

      Goal no. 9 is most important also. The administration must also give attention to the faculty and staff. They should enhance the skills of the faculty and staff in order to be competitive enough.

      To totally sum it up, Those goals I commented above  I think must given much attention by the administration. The goals are well elaborated. For me, the institution will be successful if it can provide professionals and better citizens in the country. With the goals of MUST i know they can come up a better LEARNING INSTITUTION and can create BETTER CITIZENS in the near future.
